Earlier this year the Vancouver Public School District Board of Directors, allowed FVHS Library to keep the book “Gender Queer” in the Library at Fort Vancouver High School .  They had some problems with the books Explicted Nature, but said other than that, they say it helps Students who identify with the characters to see a reflection of themselves through reading this book.
